It was programmed our dear friend, the legendary Marlin Taylor,the father of our format and pioneer in American broadcasting history. He wrote a wonderful book which we highly recommend that tells an amazing story.
Our hobby internet dream was create a tribute to honor the great legacy of the broadcasters that taught us how to enjoy great radio experiences! We are
truly thankful ! That was in 2000 !
WPAT and their legendary broadcasters like the great Jan Ochs or as we call her,the first lady of radio, created a warm and inviting presence on the air for many years ! Once simulcasted, WPAT lead the way with tradtion and warmth that was its own unique and elegant experience on both the AM and FM New York market #1 radio dial !
